Aleksandr Pilgun is a software engineer, in the past interested in Web and Mobile app development.

In 2020, he received his PhD degree from the University of Luxembourg mainly for development of ACVTool — an efficient instruction coverage measurement tool. He then introduced the Dynamic Binary Shrinking concept based on instruction coverage.

With the Debloat.App project he aims to disseminate the ACV Shrinking approach and thus remove bloat from Android apps.
